Five Mile Creek is a unique riparian habitat running through the City of Stockton and the County of San Joaquin. Our aim is to restore this natural and historical treasure and protect its future through developing a stewardship by concerned citizens, the City of Stockton, the County of San Joaquin and other governmental agencies that have jurisdiction over the creek.

The Friends of Five Mile Creek Steering Committee for the clean up and restoration of Five Mile Creek is composed of 12 people living along the creek who want to accomplish the objectives in our mission statement. The work has been supported by funds donated by Steering Committee members.
